Junior Camps (4th-6th Grade): Peter Bunnell
brock youngrenPete Bunnell grew up in the scorching desert heat of Arizona and served as a missionary on the frozen tundra of Mongolia.   With Alta, Iowa as his home of the past 7 years, Pastor Pete now handles all weather extremes well while he leads Children & Family Ministries at Summit Church.  He loves hanging out with his family at Hidden Acres and is excited to be at camp this week.  When he isn’t teaching in chapel, you’ll find him in the dining hall nibbling on warm chocolate chip cookies or exploring the lake in a paddle boat.

Junior High Camps (7th-8th Grade): Kyle Bartholic
marshall goodenowGrowing up in Pittsburgh, PA has made Kyle a lifetime devotee of Penguins Hockey, cheese steaks, and one-way streets. He has been working with students for 11 years in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Iowa. He currently serves as the Student Ministry Director at Christ Community Church in Ames, IA. He met his wife, Danielle, on a mission trip in high school, and they have been married for 10 years and have 3 crazy kids. More than anything, Kyle loves to see students follow Jesus in a life-defining way, and believes in the influence teens can have to shape their world.

As a former High School chemistry teacher, Josh melded his love for Science and Christ, creating “The Amazing Chemistry Show,” a traveling gospel-centered stage show with fire, explosions and foam. Carrying this Ministry of Chemistry even further, Josh created three “Science VBS” curricula and a family resource entitled "Science Devotions @ Home."  Josh is a published author and children's magazine columnist, and he has a regular spot on local TV preforming fun science.
