PROJECT PATH

Figuring out your plans for after high school? Consider taking a gap year at Hidden Acres, living, learning, working, and growing with us.

WHAT IS

PROJECT PATH?

Project Path is a gap-year program for college-age students interested in living, learning, working, and growing at Hidden Acres. The program is designed to give students the time and space to:

  • discover     Purpose

  • pay            Attention

  • dedicate     Time

  • find           Hope for the future

The student can choose between one of two paths to take in the program: a vocational path or an academic path.

VOCATIONAL PATH

The vocational path is a work-focused path where students will primarily work and serve at Hidden Acres. Students can expect to work 35-45 hours per week in five different departments.

ACADEMIC PATH (formerly The Ministry School)

The academic path allows students the opportunity to take college courses online from Emmaus University while also getting vocational experience working at camp. Students will work up to 25 hours per week while also being allocated time during the workday to complete college coursework.

STUDENT GROWTH

Students on both paths will participate in regular devotion time, weekly group Bible studies, life skills classes, and receive mentorship from our full-time staff.

There are seasons of life when it just takes time and space to discover what God has next for you. Often, we need to slow down and pay attention to God, His word, and the people He puts in our path. Trusting Him for our future and leaning into His plan brings abundant joy.

PREVIEW DAYS

Hidden Acres hosts Project Path preview days for prospective students, families, and youth pastors. These days are free and include a presentation, lunch, a tour, a work project, and a life skills class with current students. If you are interested in a preview day with your prospective student, please contact Jesse Evans.
